An Unexpected Meeting With The Boss

When she sighed, he wanted to explain that he was occupied with the weapons coming to him, and that they were more focused on their enemy. He thought that the door would come back as soon as their enemy was defeated. That's how it normally went.

Feeling his way across the wall, he started to note the pattern. There wasn't really any distinct way of telling. It all seemed to mix randomly. No basic pattern. Not like the one he felt earlier when they were walking along the dark hall. Though he still tried to grab for the door. It shouldn't take long...

A moment she felt like he wanted to say something but he probably tried to repress it. She thought about being nicer to him since he didn´t do anything wrong. On the contrary, he was trying to help her. But she couldn´t suppress the feeling that she was pissed.

Forcing herself to concentrate she looked around. On the floor: No. In front of her: No. Behind her: No. Above: No ... Wait a minute. One mirror was still reflecting light. Or, it seemed like it was reflecting light. He did break all of them so it wasn´t possible. She smiled. At least something.

"Hey, seems that we are lucky today. Time to get out of here ..."

He stopped feeling on the wall to glance at her. What did she mean by that?

" You found a way out? "

To trace what she was noticed, he looked around. Nothing yet on the wall. Not unless she saw something he didn't. She wasn't paying much attention to the wall now. So there was something else he must've missed. He looks into her eyes. Whatever it was, he hoped it was good enough to escape this.

The light hadn't been turned off yet. Good thing too. Who knew what else was coming.

"I think so. Look at the broken mirror. There shouldn´t be any normal reflections since you broke them all."

She tried to supressed the feeling she had at the moment but she felt weird. Disappointed of herself. Somehow ... weird. She pulled her socks up and drew her katana. Maybe the katana itself would work, if not ... she would have to use the fire again. There were more possibilities than only those too. Since he stopped feeling for the door she couldn´t locate the right place anymore.

"Can you please repeat what you just did?"

Looking at the broken mirrors she waited for the right moment to strike.

After she mentioned the mirrors, he looked up. Now he noticed it. So that's what was still keeping things the way they were. Made sense. Good thing she noticed it now. It would've took some more trial and failure before he checked the mirrors again. Well, it wouldn't be quite as long as it seemed.

He looked back down to her.

" Sure. "

Now he returns to feeling on the wall to grab a hold of the door. Following the same odd patterns as before.

When he started feeling the wall again the reflection was getting brighter. As expected. But ... ah, just try getting out of here with this. She went forward targeting the point at the wall. With a slight turn she cut the point. A fine crack appeared. So, it was that way. Another try or ... No, using the fire would be much more efficient. She stroke her katana murmuring some words again.

"Bear with the heat for a moment. By the way: the next move is yours."

The fire was filling the room again. Just to make sure that they would get out. Concentrating some more on the crack she stepped back until she was next to him again. When the whole illusion broke she had turned her back again at his. Ready.

The heat wasn't so bad for him. The flame technique she used was still amazing. And thanks to her, they found the weak point in the illusion. Now the door should return.

With the part of his umbrella that wasn't attached to the ceiling, he prepared himself. It looked like their 'enemy' was still playing innocent. Well, not exactly innocent, since he was attacking them, and calling training. The part of the wall she targeted started to fade away now, making the door visible. About the make a move out, he felt a presence. Behind him.

She sighed. Finally, the door was to be seen again. She stepped forward not really noticing that there was someone behind them. She just was to relieved to get out of here. But she had a bad feeling, still. So, she didn´t let her guard down. She always loved watching illusions fade away. She couldn´t really tell why. It was just that she liked seing the colours merging and then disappearing. That´s what she believed. Maybe she just like the feeling of fading sensations. Who knows.

Slowly, she turned to face him just to notice that there was a person in charge of attacking them.

Negai quickly turned back to face the person. The tip of the umbrella attached to the wire reeled back into the rest of the umbrella.

A slightly tall man stepped forward. He was wearing the same type of suit some of the workers were wearing. Negai noticed that each suit reperesented either a rank, or the type of work each person did. There weren't a lot of diversity of suits, but it was noticeable. The man had a smile on his face. After a few seconds, he moved his arms, as if he were about to make a move.

Just at the last moment she jumped back. Another blade gazed her and a bit blood was spilled and flowing down her cheek. She wiped it away with the back of her hand.

With that she wouldn´t stay calm. Injuring a girl on her face was definitely against the rules. She placed her katana in front of her, ready to make any move. She breathed in. It was necessary to stay calm. Just to make sure she was she breathed in another time then focused on the enemy in front of her. It was strange that he did no other move so far. But she could wait.

He was fast. Even managed to hurt her. Not good. Negai could tell he was going to pay for that.

He turned to her, but still kept his attention to their enemy.

" Do you want to do this on your own? "

Ready for a fight, he had hoped she decided to let him into the fight too. It was still respectful to ask.

His finger moved up to the handle of his umbrella. With a simple push on that part, he would start the fight. Or at least fight back if their enemy made a move. Their enemy remained there. Then, after a few more seconds, he raises his hand.

Facing the enemy she was torn since she couldn´t calm herself down. But she don´t wanted to seem weak. But since they have been a team so far she decided to let him join the fight.

"I don´t mind you interfering in the fight."

He noticed him taking on a fighting stance although he wasn´t n too sure if she would let him join the fight. But she liked that. So, he decided berorehand to help. A gentlemen, you could tell. The enemy just watched them talking then raised his hands like he wanted to give up. Another weird action.

Under the man's sleeve, some kind of weapon was hidden well. After he looked at her, then back to Negai, he smiles. Suddenly, something that seemed like bullets came towards them. Their enemy was an illusionist. So was this all real?

Constantly firing at them, he made sure to target both of them.

Negai rushed forward, his umbrella now open to fire the needles that were inside of it. Some of the bullets deflected away, others fading as an illusion. Negai made sure to keep an eye on her, but was now concerned with the person that he was close to now. With his other hand, he pulls off the handle from his umbrella, while the tip was still firing at their enemy.

An illusionist. As expected. They needed to figure out which bullets were real and which one were fake. But there was no time to figure out at all. He was constantly firing at them and that made it difficult. At that it seemed that he was worrying about her and that was sidetracking him. It was time to do something.

While evading the bullets she tried using the fire against them. But that wasn´t a good idea. When the bullets were touching the fire the fake ones disappeared and the real ones exploded. She could have known that beforehand. But if fire doesn´t work why not using ice? Just a moment she stayed where she was focussing on the fire which immediately turned into ice freezing the whole room including the bullets which dropped down to the floor.

Good. They have the upper hand in this fight. Not unless there were more illusions to keep them from winning this as quickly as possible.

The sudden change in temperature took a few seconds to get adjusted to. But he could adapt, as he normally did. The explosions from before made him think twice about using the blade he was about to pull out. With the contact from the bullets, he would have to careful about when to strike.

With the needles still defending him, he slides and ducks low as he approaches their enemy, having his blade sliding out from the umbrella to strike. But he wasn't quick enough to do it before their enemy moved to the other side.

That was fast. Or another illusion? She looked to him noticing he didn´t expected him to act this way. Just like her. While looking at him she figured out how to solve the problem illusion or not. At least to figure out if the enemy was real or not. The change in temperature was helpful. When a person breathes in a cold surrounding their breath is way warmer and more damp than the temperatures around them and so there breath appears as small cloud.

She turned around to see if there was such a cloud coming from his mouth when he was breathing. Tough cookies. No breathing clouds. So, it was another illusion. Mist user surely are troublesome.

When their enemy faded, he stopped. Standing up, he now turns to the side where the new image is. He touches a part of the umbrella to stop the needles. It was time to use something else to better protect himself if their enemy had become used to the needles.

Quickly turning to her, he makes sure she's fine. Nothing wrong yet. And tracing where she looked, he turned back to their enemy. Or was there something else to it? Before he went to him again, he adjusted something on his umbrella, and began to consider his next move, while still keeping an eye on both.

The next step was to let her partner know that the enemy they were defeating was just another illusion of their real enemy. It seemed that he didn´t noticed. But how to let him know while leaving the enemy in the dark? There was no proof that he wouldn´t notice anything they say. It would be easier to fight him without him knowing they´ve seen through the illusions. Well, but she doubted that they are able to see through them completely. But, let´s give it a try.

She turned to him looking in his eyes. Joanna took a deep breath and blow a big breathing cloud into the air. Hopefully he understand what she wanted to say.

His eyes caught her eyes, and immediately turned to her. He looked into her eyes, also noticing the deep breath she took. The change in temperature. The cold... Of course!

With a nod to her, he turns back to the person he thought was real. Certianly breathing. Just not seen. All that was left now was to find where the real person is. And acting as if they didn't know would help.

He leaves the fake for her to finish off, so that they could both seem like they're fighting.

Good thing that he managed to get what she wanted to say. Her luck. Apparently he wanted her to finish the fake one off just to search for the real one for himself. So, she turned to the fake enemy again. A normal illusion would have been frozen be the ice but the enemy was still visible. Their enemy seemed to be a very skilled one.

She couldn´t use her katana since if the ice was gone there was no possibility to find the real one. Close combat wasn´t either a way - too risky. She took out some small blades. Let the hunting begin.

As she began to attack, a new figure stood before her shrouded in a black cloak with the symbol of the Vongola and a Lion with a mane of sky flames engulfing the lion. The figure stood before her and asked what her purpose was here trying to fight this battle. "What is your purpose here do you realize what your fighting for at all?" Then the figure ordered his box weapon to turn them all to stone and just as the lion began to roar, another figure appeared out of no where before the new opponent.

"What is the meaning of this Leo?" the new opponent said.

"You have no duty in this fight ExRag, why are you here?" Leo responded

"I'm here to protect him and keep them from destroying him before I get the chance to!" roared ExRag.

And so ExRag dashed toward her and began to attack her with his Ex-Gloves boosted by Sky flames.

Negai shoots the tip attached with the wire he set up earlier, to the ceiling. He was planning on swinging his way through the room, and possibly come across their enemy. If he was still hiding himself in the room.

With his blade out from the umbrella again, he steps back and leaps off to one direction, while he held his blade out with his other hand.

Just before he could say something, he noticed a figure by her. So the illusionist decided to show himself. Or was this another illusion?

She was surprised about someone interfering in the fight. It sounded like he really wanted to fight her enemy but he was about to attack her. What a weird attitude. But why should she fight when there was someone who now wanted to fight her opponent? Their goal, no, her goal was to leave already not to enjoy useless fightings. The small blades in one hand she drew her katana again and turned to him.

"Fight me or him. You can choose. But if you fight me, don´t expect that you survive. So, choose wisely."

She wasn´t sure if he would figure out her purpose but that wouldn´t matter. If he would attack her she would kill him for sure since she wasn´t in the best mood.

Just as ExRag was about to attack her, Leo stepped in using his sun lion Ragnarok' De' Legolass revealing that ExRag had been put under an spell that made everyone non vongola look like his enemy and with the spell undone he turned to the person that everyone else was fighting and charged in head-on and started thrusting fists with the opponent who was the true enemy. Leo had activated his Cambio Forma and his lion turned into boxing outfit just like the 10th generation sun Guardian and begun dewenlding down the copies. As ExRag was fighting the illiusionist he began to notice that his sky flames were slipping away and he didnt know why so he halted his next attack to do an experiment, by firing his strongest attack toward the illiusionist he noticed that he had no decrease in power what so ever because the illiusionist dove out of the way when ExRag fired his attack.

ExRag yells, "Everyone if your thinking your flames are slipping away and becoming weaker your wrong! He's just making it seem like we're getting weaker so we believe it!"

So begun the battle again with all in its right place.

That didn't bother him. With no use of flames, he kept moving, but now stopped as the new one rushed into the fight.

He checked on her to see if she was going to fight, and if she needed a bit of help. Not that he was underestimating her. After seeing that she was in no danger, other than the sudden drop in flames, he pulls the wire back into his umbrella.

"... You okay? "

He looks at her, then to the new one. Things weren't under control anymore.
